Hi! It may be your first time seeking support or you may be looking for someone different. I am ready to join you on your journey. As an accomplished counselor and educator with over 25 years of experience in outpatient mental and medical health clinics, public and private school settings, I have been described as a genuine, compassionate, and an interactive therapist and educator.

I earned my Masters of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with an emphasis on community counseling, alcohol and substance abuse, and marriage and family therapy. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I am a Wisconsin Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor and Wisconsin Licensed Professional Educator.

I work with adolescents and adults ages 14-65 addressing problems associated with ADHD, adjustments, anxiety, depression, grief, mood, relationships and trauma. My approach is eclectic and I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and somatic-based interventions.

On a more personal note, I am a mother of two adult children and one cat, wife of a military veteran, and a cancer survivor. I maintain my own wellbeing by balancing my work and home life, taking time to socialize with family and friends and to have solitude. In my spare time, I like to listen to music, audiobooks, podcasts, take classes, journal, watch TV, exercise, attend UW Badger sports, thrift shop, be creative, bake desserts, and travel.

I provide Wisconsin residents both telehealth and in-person appointments in Oconomowoc, WI.
